Center for Lactation Education


Welcome to BSC's campus!



Through the Center for Lactation Education, Breastfeeding Support Consultants provides education and instruction to health professionals who help breastfeeding mothers.  Distance courses are available for those seeking to become lactation consultants, as well as nurses, dietitians, nurse practitioners, midwives, physicians, childbirth educators, peer counselors, and breastfeeding coordinators. In 1998, a new Anatomy and Physiology Course was also released.

Need just a few more CERPS?
Newly released! BSC's Clinical Short Subjects target information the clinician needs to know about the subject. Choose the ones you need from a list of 39 topics. It’s never been easier to target gaps in your knowledge or get those few extra CERPs you need. BSC study modules and mini courses continue to offer opportunities for small numbers of CERPs as well.
